This role spans General Liability, Workers' Compensation, Commercial Property, and other lines of business, giving you the opportunity to drive strategic outcomes across the organization.</p> <p><br><br></p> <p><strong>What You’ll Do:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Be the subject matter expert at Next on rate indications and pricing strategies for multiple lines of business, ensuring pricing adequacy and profitability</li> <li>Evaluate loss trends, frequency, and severity across lines of business to provide actionable recommendations to leadership.</li> <li>Conduct competitor and market research to guide strategic pricing decisions and maintain competitive positioning.</li> <li>Provide senior management with clear, data-driven recommendations on pricing adequacy, loss ratios, and emerging trends.</li> <li>Provide ad hoc support to other business partners, including but not limited to reinsurance, finance, distribution, claims, and growth teams.&nbsp;</li> <li>Develop high-quality, efficient processes that can adapt and scale to meet evolving business needs.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What We Need:</strong></p> <ul> <li>FCAS (preferred) / ACAS credentials mandatory</li> <li>6+ years of actuarial experience; ideally in commercial insurance pricing&nbsp;</li> <li>Accountability and pride in own work product - instill confidence in leadership</li> <li>Communication and collaboration - work effectively with cross functional partners</li> <li>Gritty, self-driven personality - embrace challenges and are excited about unexplored possibilities</li> <li>Intellectual curiosity - dig deep and solve complex business problems</li> <li>Leadership mindset - identify business needs and drive solutions to meet them</li> <li>Expertise with some or all of the following software: Tableau, SQL, Python, MS Office, Google Suite</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including, without limitation, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
